Mongo: ### ARCHIVE OF GEOCACHE DUE TO LACK OF MAINTENANCE BY THE OWNER ###

Greetings daysleeperdot,

I hate to see any cache go, but I am archiving this cache since there's been no response from, nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.

CACHE ARCHIVAL IS PERMANENT

Geocaches not maintained by the owner will still be archived even when a throwdown container has been left. Ownership Regarding Throwdowns

Regretfully,

Geocache Description:

Pasted by this cemetery many many times and never knew it existed. It wasn't until a school project had us visit a few landmarks around the city.
Entry is not needed to obtain this cache. But please take the time to glance over the stone wall and see how old some of the graves are.

This very small cemetery has a plaque on the rock wall which says "The Property known as Howard Cemetery has been designated as a local Historic District on Apr 01, 1999, by the Lee’s Summit city council.

This cemetery is enclosed by a rock wall with a wrought iron gate. here are 9 known graves. They range in date from 1838 to 1896. There are two tall monuments and the rest a smaller variety that have fallen over and are laying face up on the ground.

CONGRATS TO bogus60 FOR BEING FTF!!!!
