This cache is part of the Icelandic Filming Location Geotrail. It is hidden at one of the filming locations of Hafið from 2002.
Hafið is a movie based on a play by Ólafur Haukur Símonarson. It tells the story of a family that owns a fish factory in a remote town in Iceland. Drama occurs when the father of the family organizes a family reunion. The movie was directed by Baltasar Kormákur and stars a huge list of award winning actors and actresses such as Gunnar Eyjólfsson and Hilmir Snær Guðnason. It was filmed entirely at Neskaupsstaður. One of the most memorable places is the fishing factory that burned down.
The coordinates will take you to a box with a pieces of string in it. Follow the instructions in the bottom of the box and you will find the final box.
This can be people working at the harbor, so come in the evening or weekends to avoid muggles.
