Geocache Description:

Part of the Icelandic Filming Location Geotrail. This cache is hidden at one of the filming locations of Prometheus from 2012.

This cache is on the east side of the river. Please don't log a "did not find" if you are on the west side.

Prepear to arrive at the beginning of creation, or at least that's what you are made to believe in the Alien "prequel"; Prometheus. You will be amazed by the power in Dettifoss. No wonder Ridley Scott chose this spot for the opening sequence of the movie. You can view Dettifoss from the west side as well as the east side. The west side has a much better road. But the movie was filmed from the east side, so we chose it for hiding the box.

Extra points if you upload a picture with your hand in front of the waterfall like in the movie.

Please note that the box is handmade and delicate. Please be careful when handling it. And as always, hide it well.

If you like this geotrail, why not like it on facebook as well /IFLgeotrail
