Part of the Icelandic Filming Location Geotrail. This cache is hidden at one of the filming locations of Astrópía (Dorks & Damsels), Mávahlátur (The Seagull's Laughter), Ævintýri Pappírs Pésa (The Adventures of Paper Peter), Hrafnar, Sóleyjar og Myrra (Ravens, buttercups and myrrh) and Blóðbönd (Thicker then Water).
Astrópía is a fantasy comedy about a group of friends playing a role-playing game (RPG) and how the main character starts loosing the grip on what is real and what is fantasy.
Mávahlátur tells the story of a family in 1950.
Ævintýri Pappírs Pésa is a family movie about a paper drawing that comes to life.
Hrafnar, sóleyjar og myrra is a childrens movie about a girl who is trying to save the local theater.
Blóðbönd is a drama.
There are five stages to this multi cache, the fifth one being the final cache. Some of the stages are puzzles, but I feel this is mostly a multi. You will have to bring:
#1 A computer or 3G/WiFi smart phone.
#2 Pen and paper.
At the first stage you will find a QR code and USB stick with a video that shows you where to go. At the end of the video is the house where a lot of Paper Peter was filmed. From there you will find a trail of Paper Peter's face. At the end of the trail you will have a good view of the Hafnafjörður Light House (to your right), but you shouldn't go up to the lighthouse. It plays a big role in Ravens, Buttercups and Myrrh. There you will find a small film box with a riddle that you will have to solve to get the next coords. The coords will take you to the main filming location for The Seagu'lls Laughter. There you will find a second film box, but now the coords are simply given without any riddle. This will take you to a basketball field where part of Thicker then Water was filmed. In a cave a large lock and lock box is hidden. Congratulations, this is the final stage.
The walk is about 2.5 kilometers, one way.
The final cache is rather big, so be sure to bring lots of swag to trade.
