Geocache Description:

This cache continues on from A walk around an old landfill And follows the same style. The cache starts at the end of the previous cache, so you need to find that one first.

This cache begins at the Garbage Pile - the last direction given in the previous cache. The starting coordinates are a good place to park. The route of this cache will take you back a bit closer to where you parked. All said, the whole series is about a 3km walk.
  1. The Garbage Pile - See A walk around an old landfill for directions on how to get here. Keep walking in the same direction that led you to the garbage
  2. The Steady Climb - Just past the garbage pile, the path forks. Take the path that climbs.
  3. The Lake - Follow the trail, steadily climbing, ducking under a tree that grows across the path, until you reach the summit. You'll see the path ahead of you descending steeply down into a large-ish body of water. To your left will be another path. Take it.
  4. The Descent - Keep following the trail. It will wind and descend, then you'll come to a four way intersection. Take the trail on the left.
  5. The Birch Grove - Follow the trail until you come to a Y intersection. Take the branch to the right. Keep going until you come to a clearing and a grove of birch trees. If you look at the trees, you'll see two trees that split in to two trunks, one on the left and one on the right. Take the main trail in the direction of the tree with the two trunks that are closest together.
  6. The Clearing - You'll eventually come to a wide open space. In front of you, you'll see two man-made objects on one side of the path. Follow the tree line in the direction that doesn't have man-made objects on it. Keep following the tree line, past a trail that goes in to the trees, until you have made a complete U-turn. Keep following the tree line.
  7. The Ladder - You should eventually come to a tree that has a ladder attached to it. Stand directly under the ladder and mark an accurate waypoint. You'll need this to find the finale.
  8. The Cache - Standing facing the ladder, the cache is just under 6m away to your left.
Since you've now found both caches, you might as well finish the series with A walk around an old landfill - the finale.
