This is a pre 4th of July CITO to help clean up a lesser known/seen part of Spokane. I plan to have the meet up at 0900, nine a.m. for the non-military types.
The location is on private property however, permission has been granted by property owner. The terrain is rather steep for most of the area so I highly recommend wearing boots. I also strongly recommend wearing long sleeved shirts and pants and maybe a hat. Gloves are always a strong suggestion for any CITO and the weather is likely to be warm so come prepared with lots of water, sunscreen, and bug repellant. Trash bags will be provided and a possible bring your own meat BBQ will follow the clean up portion of the event. There will be prizes for most trash collected, person who traveled the farthest, youngest registered cacher, strangest item collected, and most uniquely dressed. Again, plan for warm weather and hopefully a good time. Changes are likely possible so keep an eye on this page to stay up to date. Hope to see you there. Update: Due to Hoopfest taking place and nearby, there may be traffic issues to contend with. I recommend driving in from down river, Peaceful Valley, so as to avoid the congestion. If you are having trouble getting to the event, you are welcome to send me a text or call to 509-850-6155. Please do not call or text prior to the event date, an email works fine.
