This cache is hidden at the entrance to Dalbeattie where there is a magnificent walled entrance sign and small, well maintained garden. This is next to the road so take care when getting to the cache site. Once there it is safe and relatively tranquil and also is the site of the Marie Curie Cancer Care field of hope which is adorned with daffodils in spring.
If driving, park your car at the houses opposite the cache site.i
