Geocache Description:

This cache has been placed as part of the Day of the Region celebration in communities across Dumfries and Galloway.  By placing these caches, it is hoped you will explore this community and feel better connected with the area, scenery, assets and groups.

This cache takes you to the entrance of the National Trust of Scotland Threave Gardens and Estate.

follow the signs from the A75 which will take you direct to the cache.  YOU DO NOT ENTER THE ESTATE.

but while you are here, take a drive up to the visitor centre and cafe and explore the wonderful gardens, children's play area and super wildlife exhibition!!!
