Grantham Canal - Between Lanthanum and Barium Traditional Cache
Alqunas: Sorry this should have gone a long time ago when it initially went missing. I will double check the area again shortly now that I am in a position to get out again. Archived.

Grantham Canal - Between Lanthanum and Barium
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This is a micro cache reached from the towpath of the Grantham Canal. There is an "elemental theme" and either the element mentioned in the title or it's atomic number are a clue. It is only big enough for the log. Whilst not absolutely necessary you may find a set of tweezers will make it easier to extract the log.
This is the fourth of my caches along this section of the Grantham Canal. It is a small, disguised, screw top container. Please take care in opening and closing it as it is a bit delicate - standard directions - anticlockwise to undo, clockwise to close.
This section of the tow path is a grass path so may be muddy when wet. This stretch is teeming with wildlife and makes for a very pleasant walk to unwind after a busy day.
Depending on how energetic you feel this can either be done as a short walk from the western parking area - or if you park on the suggested eastern one then you can take in my other caches on this stretch of the canal and those of others nearby.

Unfortunately someone removed the original cache - the replacement will be within a metre of the original position so I will use the same co-ordinates. I have typed the names and dates from the electronic log onto the replacement - just hope it will stay this time. I have increased the difficulty to 1 1/2 as the slight change in cache design and placement has made it a little harder than it was previously. Hopefully this won't be seen as too contentious.
