This cache is hidden on one of the remaining islands in Dougalston Loch. Good fun possible feet wet cache.
You can leave a car almost anywhere on Finlay Rise. Although this cache is in a loch it can be accessed fairly easily if you choose the right route,
Oswald is a big help and knows the way.
I suggest you take a good look around and select a good route, depending on weather and where you start you may keep almost dry however proper footwear is essential, the cache itself is a wee bit tricky too but the coords are accurate although the tree cover will affect readings.
The ratings are based on worst combination of route and weather.
Do not enter any local gardens, there is no need to. Enjoy the walk and take care.
