Geocache Description:

WOLDS VIEW WV3 The home of Meteodale with another fine view. Loop 1

This is outside my house (Number 8) and it is a medium sized clickable box. First do not be afraid. I would not ever put a cache outside a house unless my own house. There is a pen inside and some swaps. We have children so good swaps will be fun for them. Not making it too difficult so will just say it is behind concrete near garage...

I am making this one easy as I know that houses are stressful for geofolk .  This cache likes trackables. Replace as you found it.

These houses were built in 1888 and were residences for the Iron Ore workings at Nettleton. I guess the workers used to walk along the path each day across to their place of work. On clear days you can see Lincoln Cathedral. Peak District and Northwards you can see High Hunsley on Yorkshire Wolds. Just down the bridleway there is a footpath to the left with great views of Humber Bridge well to the North. That area is called "The Water Dales". I guess the Romans used to get the water from the springs.
