Pirates Trail 27.
A Hand from another God.
After placing this cache I felt I somehow needed to connect the striking Royal Blue turrets of the mosque to this page. After Goosey and Aegean_Pirate spoke to one of the workers in the Mosque we were invited inside to see them working on the walls and ceiling, tiling and painting.
The interior looked superb, Royal Blue everywhere, "blue is the colour", could this be an omen it was the eve of the European cup final afterall, had Roman Abramovich made his greatest signing yet.
The hand of one god had helped Argentina in the past, was this to be the time when another would show his. Robben' penalty miss was to be expected as he was a former Chelsea player, but after extra time was over and it was down to penalties how could a team from England possibly beat a German team full of Germans on their own ground in Germany.
And so it came to pass, a weak effort from Mata was easily saved and when the score went to 3-1 it was time for supersub to show his hand, the slightest of nudges was enough to push Schweinsteiger' effort onto the post before a bigger nudge pushed Neuer out of the way for Drogba to score and ensure victory for the Royal blues.
My Prayer was answered.
The spoiler pictures on the Pirate Trail caches should make life a lot easier when searching for caches, not sure how to with other smart phones but if you have an Iphone, get the spoiler picture on the screen and press the off button with the button on the front of the phone at the same time and it will take a picture of what is on the screen and save it to your photo gallery so you can access the spoilers at GZs without the roaming charges.
