Geocache Description:

This is an introduction to BIG changes to the Long Path on Schunemunk Mountain.  The current route of the Long Path is being changed.  Once it meets the Jessup Trail on the Eastern Ridge, it turns south with the Jessup and travels to the new Gonzaga Park.  The rest of the current Long Path is being renamed the Western Ridge Trail and the blaze color is now orange.  This reblazing was completed on Dec. 3, 2012

A micro tube in a camouflage container.  Just a pleasant stroll from the trailhead parking on Clove Road. Not winter friendly.
