Welcome to Vermillion Park! Dauphin's beautiful green space. . . Great place to spend time with your family. Vermillion is also home to Wood Ducks. What better place to have a cache about Wood Ducks and a tribute to the boys from Duck Dynasty! Enjoy a short walk to find the cache.
Vermillion Park features over 200 campsites, picnic sites, wildlife, 3 km of lit trails, and an on-site camp host who is present 24 hours a day during the summer months. A new playground and splash park is coming soon. Ducks call Vermillion park their home, along with many other animals. You will probably see them swimming in the creek and hanging out in the many man-made nests throughout the park.
Duck Dynasty follows the Robertson Family. They started the Duck Commander company and has become a sporting empire by fabricating top-of-the-line duck calls and decoys out of salvaged swamp wood.
This cache spotlights Si Robertson. Uncle Si has a very specific job in the workshop, fashioning the reeds that are inserted in every patented duck call. The Vietnam war vet 's famous story is that while serving overseas, his mother sent him a blue mug. Thirty years later it’s still hanging from his back pocket and he continues to only drink from this cup, every day
The cache contains a logbook, pencil, tradeables, FTF Certificate and a Collectible Jabbywockyz Souvenir for the FTF.
