Island Hopping Traditional Cache

Fun possibly get your feet wet rural cache.
This cache is on one of Dougalston Lochs islands (see map in gallery) you may or may not get wet depending on time of year and your chosen route, take some time to examine different crossings, either way please wear appropriate footwear when attempting. Take care and select your route carefully. In Victorian times this loch was part of a gigantic estate and was bigger then, the Loch Katrine pipeline also crosses directly below the loch and exits below the weir.
From parking walk up Finlay Rise and turn right down Dunmore Drive, at the bottom of the drive cross the grass to the right of a lampost and pick up public path beyond, from here follow your instincts and GPS.
