The cache is on the island of Skerries, a short walk from the ferry terminal, on a coastal walk. It is also very close to where the inter island aircraft land. The rugged scenery is spectacular whatever the weather. There are many species of wild flowers to be seen during spring and summer. In spring and autumn the island provides a 'stopping off' point for numerous migrant birds.
The cache is a small lock and lock box in a camouflage bag. There are a number of small items in the box, including a log book and pencil for recording your visit.
