Geocache Description:

"My name is Tromelin, I'm a private eye. What do you expect with a name like that, a northern explorer?" I said

I look at the four locks on my office door, all broken. As I push the door I think I should have installed number five.

Nothing. That is nothing excepts all sorts of dust bunnies from under my one missing desk. There go my last five cigarettes I think to myself with the air still stale with their brethren smell trapped in the walls.

I then notice a note, seems I was cleared out for being three months late on my rent.

I was nine unsolved for three in my last cases, that is not a good average in my line of work where reputation is everything.

"This could be my chance to go west" I said to the dust bunnies drifting like tumbleweeds in the breeze.

I stay at my office until seven to five hoping my latest client would return, a man dressed so dark I could swear light bent around him. No chair to sit on made this a pain.

I was starting to think he wouldn't return since I had turned him down. A case of missing diamonds.

"Check the mall, I heard they have a lost and found section" I said.

I wasn't getting involved, word on the street was that the blue diamond thief was on the lamb and anyone that search 4 him also met the business end of a model [1]2 before becoming a tangle of bones in a lost garden that would be unrecognizable by his dad or daughter.

Well, I didn't have much choice but to take the case now. I rumaged my pockets for the clues I had jotted down on a piece of paper

3...6...4

Again with the numbers, if I could work those, odds are I'd be a bookie.

The other theory was that this was a mob hit. Suspects like Mr Packrat, the notorious Pibelle duo and Madame Sakidoo were all famous for their [geo]mob ties. I would have to see if I could make them spill the original can of beans.

So I sat down, standing because there was no chair, wondering how this one would be in the end...
