Geocache Description:

This cache is hidden deep inside, but the exact location has been revealed.

Long ago, the accursed land pirates roamed these parts. They hid their four greatest treasures nearby: Gold, Youth, Fame, and Knowledge. Because gold can be stolen, youth fades, and fame gives way to obscurity, those treasures have long since vanished leaving only the X that once marked their hiding place. The fourth treasure has been taken many times, but it only grows when shared, so there is always enough for those who seek it.

Fourth treasure's distance from lost treasures:
Youth = 100m
Gold = 80m
Fame = 130m

You are at the front door, but the treasure you seek is hidden within the GPS proof walls. To find this cache you must abandon your technology and rely on your wits. It is somewhere amongst the 1.3 million volumes, 15 thousand periodicals, 84 thousand government records, 56 thousand media entries, 14 hundred manuscripts and 36.6 thousand other items in various mediums. Our only hint is that its location has been revealed to you if you can only crack the code.

Coordinates are for the visitor's parking lot, parking can be very limited at times. Please remember to conduct yourself appropriately considering where you are and use extra care when searching to be sure not to disturb anyone who is working. Cache is a medium-large container that is appropriately camouflaged. Room for small trade items, geocoins, or travel bugs. The staff has requested that only items that are clean and dry be placed in this cache because of the potential for mold or mildew damage to nearby objects.

Hours:
Mon-Thur: 8am-10pm
Fri: 8am-6pm
Sat: 10am-6pm
Sun: 1pm-10pm
*Note: This cache is placed indoors at Wake Forest University. The above hours are correct when school is in session and during the summer, but they are sometimes changed right before school starts and major holidays, usually less than 10 days a year.

Initial contents are some marine animals, sunken pirate treasure, and a special gift for the FTF made by yours truly (the Armorsmith).

Difficulty is in solving the puzzle, once solved its easy to find.

Background Information: The Laurentian Abyss is a fictional oceanic feature that has been referenced in several books and movies. It is most likely a distortion of the Laurentian Fan located at the northern edge of the Sohm Abyssal Plain in the Atlantic Ocean or the Laurentian Trough in the Gulf of St Lawrence. Finding the cache should at least be slightly easier than finding the Laurentian Abyss on a map.

FTF goes to ashbo!! Congrats!!
