If you look up at the side of the hill from the spot of this cache spot, you will notice a large scar to the right hand side of the cascading creek that runs under the bridge at this spot. Apparently the hillside broke loose taking most of the old bridge over the creek with it. It was replaced in 1997 with the new bridge that you crossed over the creek to get to this spot. There are many beautiful little creeks and waterfalls that punctuate the drive up to Cascades Pass and there just didn't seem to be enough caches along the way to entice you to stop and take a look around. I hoped to rectify that in at least one wide spot in the road.
There is plenty of parking on either side of the bridge. Stop, take a moment to enjoy the scenery and find the cache.
