A pleasant walk mostly beside a loch
on a good path although one main road to cross. ** Please note the cache is not on or under the rickety bridge. **
Please park somewhere on Finlay Rise and start the walk from given trailhead coords, walk along the path to the bridge where you will need to count the number of vertical uprights on the North side of the bridge, call this x.
Use x in the following to determine your final coords N 55 56. 0 (7-X) (X-2) W 004 18. (X-6) 1 (X+1)
Please note you will cross a main road, do take care. Final part of walk from bridge is mostly long grass. You should end up above part of a great Victorian acheviement. The "Dodgy" bridge mentioned in a couple of logs is actually the original road bridge before the road was relocated and straightened, you can clearly see the raised road leading off to the East from the old bridge. The new road also crossses the original loch at a point right over the most Easterly fourth island
