Geocache Description:

CACHE NOT AT POSTED COORDINATES

This cache has three stages. The above coordinates will bring you to a mural in downtown New Port Richey. Pictured in the mural is a famous comedic actor from the silent film era. Let him be the focus in your quest for the next stage. To solve this puzzle and determine the coordinates for the next stage you will need both his birth and death dates.
Puzzle 1


Coordinates for stage two are N 28 15.ABC W082 43.DEF where:

  • A= age at birth
  • B= last number in the year of death - 2
  • C= third number in year of birth - 7
  • D= B - 3
  • E= B - 1
  • F= D + 5
Upon arriving at stage two you will see a plaque placed in honor of a famous actress, also from the silent film era and later in talkies. To solve this puzzle and determine the coordinates for the final you will need her birth and death dates.


Puzzle 2


Coordinates for the final stage are N 28 14.FED W 082 43.CBA where:

  • F= last number in year of birth
  • E= last number in date of death +2
  • D=birth month -2
  • A= C+0
  • B= second number in year of birth -6
  • C= E-3
Since the cache is within walking distance of the mural it is asked that you do the "Chuck Walk", if only briefly, see here during your journey. It's only a short distance, so come on, baffle and amuse the locals. BYOP.
