Den nyeste offentlige badestranda i Tysvær heter Forekamsvika, og ligger like nord for Søvik, på vei ut til Kvitaneset.
Eiendommen her ble kjøpt av kommunen pga. for liten kapasitet på stranda i Søvik, og hasardiøs parkering langs veien.
Så i løpet av våren er det kommet ny parkeringsplass langs veien på toppen nordøst for selve Søvik, og laget bred fin gangvei ned til den nye badestranda.
This is a new public beach with better capacity than the old one in Søvik. This spring there is made a new parkinglot when you drive eastward from Søvik, and a brand new walking-way down to the beach
