Geocache Description:

A short hike to Lulumahu Falls off of Pali Highway.

***Revised Coordinates N 21 Degrees 20.900 Min. W 157 Degrees 48.140 Min.*** You can't miss the waterfall. Congrats to Off-Roader, FTF! We named this cache BNE because the first time my wife went to this hike her car was broken into. So breaking and entering just seemed like a good name. Park your car right off the highway were the Old Pali Highway and Pali highway meet. There are several ways to start the hike but eventually you must go past the Nuuanu reservoir and up a small set of stairs that lead past a fenced in pool to a stream. The trail follows the stream, sometimes on it, to one of the highest waterfalls we have seen here. The hike can be done in less than a couple hours unless you are traveling with several small kids like us. There is only 300 ft. of elevation gain and a little over 4 miles round trip so this hike is suitable for kids. Adults will have to grab the cache though, so watch your step on the slick rocks.
