Geocache Description:

This is the fourth in a series of caches placed on "The Incline" and can be combined with others to form a circular walk near Neath.

This was once part of the route of the 'South Wales Mineral Railway' engineered by Isambard Kingdom Brunel to link the collieries at Glyncorrwg in the Afan Valley with the Docks at Briton Ferry. The incline gradient is about 1 in 10 and the coal wagons were lowered by means of a wire cable from the Incline Top. The cache can be found beyond the area where the winding gear for the incline was situated.
Be warned the cuttings can get VERY MUDDY so please wear appropriate shoes/boots.
To get to GZ from the Incline cross over the road bridge to find a path down to road level off to the right.
