This cache is hidden with permission in Groveland Oaks County Park. Groveland Oaks County Park is a summer family favorite, with picnicking, swimming and family camping on 361 acres near Holly. The park features a spiraling waterslide that splashes down into Stewart Lake. Boat, paddle boat and bike rentals are available. In addition, there is an 18-hole mini golf course, a skateboard area and a large children's playscape. Group campsites and modern cabins are available for rent with electricity, refrigerator, table and chairs, outdoor fire pit and cooking grill.
The park is open from May 18 - Sept. 23, 2012. The park is open for day use from 1/2 hour before sunrise to 1/2 hour after sunset unless otherwise posted. Thread Creek Trail is open from 8am to 8pm.
