HistoricAZ66: Flagstaff- Babbitt Home Traditional Geocache
VisitFlagstaff: Unfortunately we have had to replace this geocache too many times and it turns out an occupant nearby has threatened to remove any future caches. We did gain approval through city management to place the cache but feel it is time to retire this cache. Thank you for your comments over the years it was fun to see how many people appreciated the history and camouflage of this cache.

This cache is part of the Historic Route 66 Geocaching Project, a series created by the Historic Route 66 Association of Arizona and designated as an official Arizona Centennial Legacy Project by the Arizona Historical Advisory Commission.
This historic building was constructed in 1923 on the original site of the Babbitt homestead and has been home to many organizations and agencies over its 78-year history, including the Flagstaff Elks Lodge, The Workers Union Meeting Locale and the Flagstaff Public Library. Today, Theatrikos has grown considerably, both artistically and organizationally, producing six diverse main-stage shows per season, as well as other special engagements in the intimate 99-seat theatre. Having produced approximately 150 plays over the last three decades, Theatrikos Theater Company is Flagstaff's premier community stage, in large part because of the cozy but enjoyable Playhouse.
