Get a jump on Christmas and come to a wintery Christmas feast at the Springs.
Venue: the Springs hut at the Springs carpark, Mt Wellington
Date: Saturday 28th July
Time: from 5pm for a shared meal at 6pm
Please bring:
Food to share (please put in your log what you intend to bring) – Christmas themed if possible.
Drinks and a glass if you like to use one.
Eating utensils: a plate, bowl, cutlery.
A chair if you want to be sure of a seat.
Really warm clothing!!!
A secret santa present for each member of your team that would like to participate. (We suggest something suitable for a cache, up to the value of $2 – but should you have an unwanted Christmas present that you would like to re-gift, then you could use this opportunity)
A lantern, torch, head torch, jar of fireflies, or some other light source.
We will get there earlier in the day and hopefully claim the hut and set up, but if this cunning plan fails, we will use the outside fireplaces.
The hut is reasonably small so we may have to spread outside anyway. If you are caching on the mountain during the afternoon feel free to drop in earlier.
