Across the stones... Traditional Cache
Zebra Girl: I can't climb that mtn due to an injury. Therefore, I am going to archive even though the last loggers were able to find it. If anyone happens to be climbing Worcester Mtn and feels compelled to look, I make no guarantees, but I won't delete your log.

Across the stones..
You are seeking a small lock 'n lock on the opposite side of the stream.
At these coordinates, you will find yourself in the C.C. Putnam State Forest. The hike is approximately 2.4 miles round trip, it gets a little steep in places. Once you get within about 40 feet of the cache you will see the stream off to your left. You must use the stones and small boulders to step across the stream. I believe that this cache will be accessible even if the water is high as there are plenty of large stones to step on. Although I placed it one year ago, I checked on it today and the water was ROARING due to recent storms, it was quite tricky but passable. JUST BE CAREFUL!Just a bit south of the cache is a spot where the water pools and it's big enough for geopups to cool off in. It was even deep enough for me to dip in while I was here. Continue up the mountain just about half a mile and you can find "Face it Daryl, Darryl, Darrel, and Cheryl".
To get here take Rte 12 North from Montpelier. Just past the Worcester Town Hall you will turn left on Minister Brook Rd. Then take a right onto Hampshire Hill Rd and a left on Mountain Rd. It will feel as though you are entering private property, but parking is there, just keep going.
