Geocache Description:

The cache is an ammo can containing logbook, swag and paddlefish punch.  Use the punch to validate your game card to receive your coin.  Do not remove the punch from the cache. Also there is a 5 ounce weight I once used for Paddle Fishing.
This cache is part of the 5th Annual Cache In and Coin Out event held in conjucntion with Buzzard Days and is sponsored by the Badlands Geocaching Group and the Glendive Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture.

Glendive is famous for Paddlefishing.  Most of the paddlefishing is done at the Intake fishing access area located on the west side of the Yellowstone River.
This cache is located on the road that takes you to the Intake site on the east side of the river, or "the back road to Intake".  Since paddlefish are snagged and not hooked in the traditional manner, I like to call this a "Park and Snag" cache.  There is room to park carefully on the shoulder of the road.  The trail to the cache is an easy stroll.  It is near a creek but don't try paddlefishing here.  General hiking precautions should be taken and one should always be alert to the possibility of prairie rattlesnakes.
