Geocache Description:


No - it is not the end of the world!!!

Not only is it a time where this occurrence will not happen for another 100 years but yet again...It is that time of the year where all is well with the world and where family and friends get together and catch up on all that is happening with them or where we wish them blessings and good luck on their new adventures in life.

In that spirit, please join us for our 1st Annual holiday get-together - geocaching-style! Come on out and have some fun, and who knows, you might find that last minute gift for your geo-loved one. Last year, many of us had lots of fun and took home some geo-gifts.

WHEN: December 12, 2012 --- 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm

WHERE: Mi Casita's Restaurant, Bragg Boulevard (next to BB&T and across from Dollar Tree)

This is a MEET and GREET EVENT with an Optional Activity.

We will swap caching stories and discover/trade trackables. We will say hello to new members to our geo-caching family or say good-bye to current members that are leaving the area for new and exciting chapters and experiences in their lives. But overall, we will spread some holiday cheer to all present.

OPTIONAL EVENT ACTIVITY:

We will playing Dirty Santa. Some people call it a Chinese Auction while others call it a Yankee Swap. (There will be "official" rules for the game at the event.)

Bring a caching-related gift, which must be wrapped. There will be no specific dollar amount given because you have the option of buying/purchasing a gift and bringing it or creating the entire gift and bringing it.

If you plan on receiving a gift, you must bring a gift. Make sure it is caching-related: cache container of any kind, SWAG, trackable items, etc... BE CREATIVE!

BONUS:

There is a 12-12-12 coin also!!! Thanks to gorfner (again!), we will have these trackable coins for sale ($12 each)...Let us know how many you would like and we will be happy to accommodate...



I know it is church-time for some of you and it is a weekday, but this cacher wants the geo-family (kids and all) to come and have some holiday fun! And if you cannot make it, Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year to all!!!
