Geocache Description:

A medium sized cache with a few treasures.  Find the hidden trail (especially in Summer) off to the right.  Cross the creek and you're pretty close.

Park in the new parking area.  You can access from Shope Creek. Go out Riceville Road from 70 (at the VA) about 3.5 miles and turn left onto Bull Creek Road in the middle of the ox bow (just past the Riceville Community Center/Fire Department). From there turn right onto Shope Creek (about .3 miles) and follow all the way to the end. You'll go through a removed gate, across a concreted, flowing creek bed and the parking lot is about .3 miles on your left after you get on the gravel road. Climb the double track staying to the left at major branches.  Once near the top (there will be a large clear cut on your left hand side) - you'll have to look for the single track trail to the right.  Especially in the summer the entrance to trail to the right can get overgrown - you'll need to look closely. The single track crosses a creek shortly thereafter and you'll be really close.
