The cache is located in a secluded, seldom visited part of our village. It is down a short path so access is very easy, my 3yo son helped me to hide it. You can get to it wearing your best trainers so no special foot wear required, even in the wet.
The area is quiet and quite pretty on a lovely summers day but best of all the cache is situated at the begining of a footpath leading to a local pub :)
I had a lovely 30 min walk with my Son to the pub after placing the cache, taking time to look at the pretty flowers on the way. After stopping for the cache the footpath across the field to the pub is very well marked and the ground easy to walk along as the farmer keeps it clear of weeds and crops, if it has been wet then boots may be required :) To get to the pub you should cross the A46 at the pedestrian crossing at the roundabout, do not atempt to cross early as it ain't worth it.
The cache is a weather-proof blue container with some child friendly goodies stashed within. I have included a log and pencil, just in case you forget a pen.
Happy hunting!
