The following caches are dedicated to local historical figures to keep with the historical theme of this former TH&B (Toronto, Hamilton & Buffalo) Railway.
William Dickson was a early day merchant, lawyer and confidant of the Six Nations. He had a very successful trading post and used these funds to become a successful land speculator. He purchased a block of land near the Grand and laid the plans for the community of Shade's Mills which would later be renamed to Galt and now part of Cambridge.
