Geocache Description:

Cache atop Sunset Loop Trail at Quarz Mountain State Park. Part of an Eagle Scout Project - Cache to Eagle.

The cache sits just west of the high peak on the Sunset Loop Trail. This is a Cache to Eagle which and was done as part of an Eagle Scout Project completed by Eric Balaguy of Troop 260 in Altus. The project reblazed the grown-over trail and added markers to help find your way. You are looking for a small plastic container about 5 x 7 and 4 inches or so deep. First finder gets a Last Frontier Council Centennial patch that is inside. Watch out for the cactus and an occasional snake. Rocks are slippery when wet and this trail is closed during deer season (Nov - Jan).
