Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the posted coordinates. They will bring you as far as the front doors of the library.

Placed in celebration of the Calgary Public Library's 100th anniversary, this cache is located inside the building. Branch hours are Monday - Thursday 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. and Friday - Saturday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. (also Sundays noon - 5 p.m. from September - mid-May)

Once inside the library, there are several resources to be found, even some about geocaching. If you look for 'Geocaching: hide and seek with your GPS', 'Geocaching for Dummies', or 'The Geocaching Handbook: the guide for family friendly, high-tech treasure hunting', you'll be close to finding what you seek. But, you'll have to read between the lines.

Rediscover your Calgary Public Library and explore our communities in our city-wide Scavenger Hunt. Using GPS units available at all library locations, search out our many hidden treasures and complete quizzes and riddles about the library and our city. This summer, enjoy a stay-vacation activity with family and friends. Program launches June 9, 2012; see (visit link) for more details. In partnership with City of Calgary Parks, City of Calgary Recreation.

Original cache contents are the standard logbook and pencil as well as small items for trading generously provided by CPL.
