We almost always use Michigan Road as a cut through from Holton to Madison and thought this road needed a few caches, especially New Marion. New Marion was once a thriving town. It is told by some that the now non-existent New Marion Bank was once robbed by John Dillenger. The government creation of the Jefferson Proving Grounds at the beginning of World War II changed the town of New Marion forever.
