The cache IS at the posted coordinates but you cannot find and log this cache - the 'Bingo' - until you have met the requirements below. We have placed the Bingo on the Suncoaster Trail close to the Earl Cove ferry terminal so it is possible for cachers from the upper Sunshine Coast to cross the inlet as walk-ons on the ferry, hike up to the cache (about a kilometer), enjoy the surroundings, find the cache and return to Saltery Bay on the next sailing.
The Challenge:
• Find caches on the Sunshine Coast between Port Mellon and Lund (including Keats, Gambier, Texada and Savary islands). All cache types count, including event caches.
• Fill in the difficulty and terrain grid below. Caches you have already found do count, so you may already have many of the slots filled in. Note that we have not included 4.5 or 5.0 difficulty/terrain ratings due to the shortage of those caches in the area.
• Complete two lines in any direction (horizontal, vertical, diagonal) and call 'Bingo'. You will need 13 or 14 caches in total, depending on your Bingo lines. Examples of a win are:
In your log post your qualifying caches with the Difficulty/Terrain rating, cache number or name and date found. For example, one Bingo line might be:
