Geocache Description:

The GeoTech Event is a day of Free Geocaching sessions, run by geocachers for geocachers (and the general public who are interested in learning more)

An event for geocachers, both newbie and pro, a chance to brush up on some new skills and learn all about Geocaching!

HUGE thank you to the city of Oakdale and the Oakdale Parks department for allowing us to use their facilities to host this event.

We are planning on offering two 45 minute long sessions at 10:00, 11:00, 1:00, 2:00 and 3:00 in the following subjects:

Never been out Geocaching? thats ok too, we have several Geocachers who will take you out into the park to hunt your first cache!

The MnGCA (Minnesota Geocaching Association) will be providing Hotdogs for lunch, we encourage people to potluck side dishes, drinks, ketchup/mustard, or anything else you can think of. The Discovery Center that they have a small kitchen area and lots of plug-ins for croc-pots, or what ever needs plugging in to keep warm.

We will have some paper plates and cups I encourage people to bring their own.
