World Geocaching Day is 18 August. What better excuse to attend an event and pick up some of the caches in the Inner West of Sydney.

Warning: Please check the cache page before the event.

The event will start at 12.30pm in Petersham Park.

There is a BBQ is available should you wish to cook a few snags. It won't be a mega-party, but you should be rub shoulders with some other geo-cachers.

There will also be a table for travel bugs.

I would expect to event to finish around 1.30pm giving you plenty of time to cache in the area.
