First of all, you'll notice that these are just guidelines and suggestions and not rules. As we've already established there are no rules at all for this challenge.
1. We request that you post a note stating the challenge you have set for yourself before you begin. You don't have to, but if you're going to set yourself a decent challenge, then you should have no problem letting everyone know what it is! So this is a strong request.
2. Don't choose a challenge that you have already completed, or at least set yourself a challenge you can start now so that you can get some feeling of accomplishment in achieving it before finding this cache.
3. Your challenge should hopefully somewhat reflect the high difficulty and terrain ratings of this challenge cache. Think of a challenge worthy of these high ratings - perhaps some really tricky puzzles, some really tough terrain, basically some hard work should go into completing your challenge, whatever you decide it will be.
4. Try not to copy exactly someone else's challenge they have set themselves. Since you can come up with your own individual challenge, try and be original and unique and pick one that is entirely individual to your caching style.
5. Think about how you can go that little bit harder, further or tougher than those who have announced or completed their challenges before you.
6. When you complete your challenge, supply evidence that you have completed it by whatever means and in whatever format you choose (but please do so publicly on the cache page, rather than privately to us). We trust you have completed the challenge you set for yourself, if you say you have - but you might as well let everyone know!
7. Remember, you can choose whatever challenge you like - it could be really tough or it could be really easy. Major kudos if you set yourself a really tough challenge befitting, or outdoing, your caching experience so far and you will wear this challenge cache find with pride and satisfaction.
8. Finally, have fun caching! That's the primary reason for all of this. If you're not having fun then you're not doing it right.
HAPPY CACHING!!! |
