Geocache Description:

After a great drive from Charleville or Quilpie in the Australian Outback, you will see the work of Polish Migrants back in 1933. They built the causeways mostly by hand and you will also feel the earth and rocks they felt and find this cache.

Getting there is half the fun! Two ways: 1) direct from Charleville to Adavale (192km) the most scenic route and 2) from Charleville to Quilpie then to Adavale (290km). Visit local information centres at Charleville, Quilpie or Adavale for maps of these routes. On these journeys you'll see kangaroos, emus, feral pigs, goats and a multitude of other wildlife along with a large variety of bush flora and geographical features (particularly on the 1st route). Polish Migrants back in 1949, built the causeways mostly by hand, so you may also need to feel the earth and rocks they felt to find this cache. It is made from a more recently man made product.
