small container Placed on the old military training grounds of CFB Debert
Cache is placed near the ruins of just one of many old buildings located in these woods, this area back in WW2 was the Eastern Training area for all soldiers heading over seas, my grandfather trained here and was shipped to Halifax by train to await a ship to take him into battle as many of your family may have. as you walk to the cache keep a eye open you may see many other ruins in the area, there is also a abandoned shaft to the left of the trail in so always watch your footing, feel free to walk, bike or ATV these roads and just really see how big things were back then.
