Walking thoughout the area you will see evidnece of old structures. Although many of the buildings have fallen over and/or rotted away, the concrete foundations still exist. It is neat to look around the foundations to imagine the structures and landscaping of the people that once lived here.
Park at the yellow gate (don't block). Easy walk in and just a little off the main path. The cache is in an area we walk past all the time. We love searching out the old ruins of past life on the prairie.
