A little known 'resort' in Chugach State Park, this site was observed by coloReido and akgh519 while hiking towards Blacktail Ptarmigan Rocks from Mount Baldy. This secluded 'lake' is formed from accumulating snow melt and boasts pristine views. Bring your own pen, swim suits, and volleyball net. Water wings optional.
Closest parking is at the Mount Baldy trailhead at the end of Golden Eagle Drive. Recommended start is summiting Mount Baldy and grabbing Baldy Eagle (GC782C) and Guardians (GC33DXJ). You're on your own from there!
Congratulations to akerdoc and Can'tFindMyOwnHouse* for the co-FTF!
