Geocache Description:

On the 3rd August, 2013 (next year) the 6th Annual UK's Mega Event will be held in the West Midlands Region at the Heritage Motor Centre, Gaydon, Warwickshire. That's a long way away, so help send us off!
This will be a great opportunity to meet the West Midlands Mega Committee and to see what exciting events we are planning for next year.

When:

Sunday 12th August 2012 at 10:30am - 12:30pm

Where:

Arnside Pier, The Promenade, Arnside, Carnforth. Lancashire, LA5 0HF

Details:

We would like to invite all geocachers to meet and greet the 2013 UK Mega Team to chat to the people organising the 6th UK Mega Event in the West Midlands Region.
Pretty shops, cafés and pubs line Arnside promenade and it has glorious views across the estuary towards Grange and the Lakes District peaks.
If you are hungry there are several places along the Promenade for lunch. At 1pm many walkers will set off across the mud of the estuary as a part of the Morecombe Bay Walk Event - (GC35R64). Come munch with us before you go, or wave everybody off!

There will also be a raffle to raise funds for the 6th Annual UK Mega Event as well as an opportunity to buy lots of West Midlands Mega 2013 coins, tags and other merchandise - if we have any left from Saturday!
