EN: If you’re in Croatia for the first time, you might notice that Croatians have BIG clocks. So, here’s a photo guide to some of them - for your sanity’s sake, I’ll stick to the ones in Zagreb, or better, in the center of Zagreb.
On the below photo, you will see a selection of some BIG clocks on public display in Zagreb. Your task is to go to listed waypoints, look carefully around you, and spot one of the BIG clocks from the photo. Match the corresponding number with the waypoint letter, and put it in the final formula.
I tried to avoid the cases when you see MORE than one clock from the picture (some of them are on churches, visible from far), if case like that occurs, take into the account the closer clock.
You might have noticed that there are 20 pictures of BIG clocks, but only 14 waypoints. That’s right, some of the BIG clocks are fake (well, actually real clocks, just not in the center of Zagreb), put there to deceive you. And fill some space. In that order.
Regardless of somehow LARGE number of waypoints, they are all in the center, walking distance, and the cache could be completed in the little more than an hour (and a half?). I hope it will take you more than that, because there are some other caches on your way (noted in the text), and you will probably stop for an ice cream, drink, snack, or to admire the scenery around Croatian BIG clocks. Suggested order of waypoints is by no means obligatory, you can visit them in any order you like, they are not dependent one of another.
The fastest way to find all of the BIG clocks in no time is to use the bicycle.

BIG CLOCK:
Waypoint A - N 45° 48.821 E 15° 59.085
You are approaching centre of the town from Vlaška street, maybe you can visit Schlosser Stairs cache, and Stock Market Building / Zgrada burze is not so far, either. If you like mysteries, Moviegoers and Atomic are close too.
Waypoint B - N 45° 48.804 E 15° 58.780
Proceed down the street towards the main square. Up for a photo task? Then Photo Task: RED! is the cache for you – no preparation necessary.
Waypoint C - N 45° 48.883 E 15° 58.761
Proceed right and uphill to the town’s main cathedral, where you can try to search Zagrebačka Katedrala nano. And by all means, visit the cathedral, if you still haven’t!
Waypoint D - N 45° 48.849 E 15° 58.653
Just a bit to the west, you’ll reach the town’s central market place, always lively and busy. There are a couple of great (and cheap!) restaurants on your way to the next cache, in Skalinska street.
Waypoint E - N 45° 48.898 E 15° 58.575
You’re in Tkalčićeva Street, full of nice little cafes and places to grab a snack from. Ideal place to be on a warm afternoon. If you love cookies and ice-cream, good news for you – best place for that combination is just next to the Tkalca cache, which you might pick up while looking for the clock. This one shouldn’t be so difficult… ;-) You might continue north to explore Tkalciceva street further, or go back towards the main square.

If you got hungry during your quest, McDonald’s is just behind your back. Take a break!

Proceed south to Petrinjska street, you can see the town’s prison on your right.

Zrinjevac is the large green area full of flowers close to the center. Strossmayer cache is not far.

Stroll across Bogovićeva street, full of fashionable cafes, and arrive at Cvjetni Trg. This is the place to be seen at! Watching out for the muggles, try to grab Cvjetni Trg cache, and continue to narrow pedestrian passage (Prolaz Sestara Baković) to look for the next BIG clock on the list.
Waypoint J - N 45° 48.623 E 15° 58.291
Masarykova street takes you to Croatian National Theatre, in all its beauty. Enjoy the flowers in front of it, and note the digit on this clock here. Mimara cache is just a few hundred meters from here. Then, just across the square (the Law university is on the north side), move to the next clock.

And finally! You’ve made it! This is the last BIG clock on our list (of course, if you followed the suggested path), now it’s calculation time, and (hopefully), searching for the final! While you’re at it, check the Funicular / Uspinjača cache in the vicinity, you can sit on the stairs and do the math. Or ride the shortest funicular in the world, it’s up to you.
Cache isn’t far from ONE of the BIG clocks listed here.
HR: Vjerojatno ste već upoznati sa činjenicom da se u Hrvata (između ostalog) mogu naći i VELIKI satovi. Evo foto vodiča nekih od njih, radi zdravlja vašeg i vaših cipela, ograničit ćemo se na one u Zagrebu, točnije, u centru Zagreba.
Na gornjoj slici je prikazan izbor nekih od VELIKIH javnih satova u Zagrebu. Vaš zadatak je da odete na zadane waypoint-ove, i pogledate pažljivo oko sebe - vidjet ćete jedan od VELIKIH satova sa slike. Slovu waypoint-a pridružite broj sata na slici, i uvrstite ga u finalnu formulu.
Pokušao sam izbjeći slučajeve gdje vidite VIŠE od jednog sata sa slike, ali kako su neki na crkvama, i vidljivi izdaleka, ako ipak naiđete na takav slučaj, uzmite u obzir bliži sat.
Pronicljivi kakvi sigurno jeste, već ste uvidjeli da ima 20 slika VELIKIH satova, a samo 14 waypoint-ova. U pravu ste, neki od VELIKIH satova su lažni (u stvari, pravi satovi, samo ne u centru Zagreba), stavljeni ovdje u svrhu zbunjivanja protivnika. I krpanju rupa u slici. Tim redom.
Bez obzira na prvi pogled velik broj waypoint-ova, svi su u strogom centru grada, mogu se obići pješke, i to u malo više od sat (i pol?) vremena. Ja se nadam da će vam trebati i više, jer ćete putem nailaziti na mnoge druge cacheve (označene u tekstu), a naravno da ćete putem stajati na sladoled, pićence ili na neki brzi zalogaj.
Predloženi redoslijed obilaska naravno da nije obavezan, koordinate su za sve točke unaprijed zadane i ne ovise jedna o drugoj, tako da ih možete posjetiti bilo kojim redom.
Najbrži način da obiđete sve VELIKE satove u kratkom vremenu je, naravno, bicikl.

Otiđite samo malo na zapad, i doći ćete na glavnu gradsku tržnicu, uvijek punu ljudi i užurbanu. Na putu prema slijedećem VELIKOM satu (u Skalinskoj ulici) imate par odličnih a jeftinih restorana.

Došli smo u Tkalčićevu ulicu, punu kafića i mjesta na kojima možete nesto prezalogajiti na brzinu. Idealno mjesto za prošetati se u toplo popodne. Ako volite kekse i sladoled, dobra vijest za vas – najbolje mjesto za tu kombinaciju je upravo kraj Tkalca cache-a, kojeg možete prijaviti dok tražite slijedeći VELIKI sat. To ne bi trebalo biti tako teško… ;-) Možete produžiti na sjever u nastavak istraživanja Tkalčićeve ulice, ili se vratiti natrag na glavni trg.

Zrinjevac je veliki park pun cvijeća u neposrednoj blizini glavnog trga. Strossmayer cache nije daleko.
Waypoint I - N 45° 48.682 E 15° 58.407
Prošetajte Bogovićevom ulicom punom kafića, i dođite do Cvjetnog Trga. Ovo je mjesto na kojem morate biti viđeni! Izbjegavajući uvijekprisutne muggles-e, pokušajte naći Cvjetni Trg cache, pa nastavite uskim pješačkim prolazom sestara Baković i potražite slijedeći VELIKI sat s ove liste.

Masarykova ulica će vas dovesti do Hrvatskog Narodnog Kazališta, u svoj svojoj ljepoti. Uživajte u cvijeću ispred njega, i zapišite broj kraj VELIKOG sata koji se nalazi ovdje. Mimara cache je samo par stotina metara odavde. Preko trga (Pravni fakultet je s njegove sjeverne strane), nastavite prema slijedećem satu.

Konačno! Uspjeli ste! Ovo je zadnji VELIKI sat na našoj listi (naravno, ako ste pratili predloženi redoslijed), vrijeme je za malo računanja i potragu za cacheom. Stepenice kraj Funicular / Uspinjača cache-a su idealne za to. Usput se možete i provozati najkraćom žičarom na svijetu.
