The cache takes honors to be the first to be placed in this entirely new neighborhood-to-be.
This new development has been decades in the making and if you are financially capable of purchasing property here, consider yourself blessed. This is located where, at one time, Gateway Boulevard was envisioned to provide a direct route from the Caldecott area to Moraga while bypassing Orinda. There was no way that residents were going to allow through traffic via this pristine valley, and indeed agreement for any form of development here took years to achieve. It is really quite astounding to see this here in this day of NIMBY-ism and environmental protection.
Along the way to this cache, you will see that some of the beautiful new public playing fields built here under the agreement are ready to go, and further exploration will reveal what a beautiful area this is.
The cache is hidden near what promises to be a "busier" intersection and even today GZ is within view, from afar, of watchful muggle eyes. While things will continue to change and become busier all around, exercise some caution even now!
