A quick find at one of my favorite roadside stops.
******* UPDATE: A few of my caching friends checked on this for me after I received a note that there are bees swarming nearby. The bees are honey bees so I will not be spraying them as their numbers are apparently decreasing in existence. I have been told by all that the bees are in the actual pump; the cache is NOT in or on the pump. THERE IS NO NEED TO EVEN TOUCH THE PUMP TO FIND THE CACHE!
Just as any cache where there may be snakes or ticks, please use caution. I've been told honey bees are not supposed to be aggressive, so hopefully if you DON'T TOUCH THE PUMP (especially the top by the globe where their nest is) they won't touch you!

I've always preferred the "long way" over the turnpike and while Route 30 is a major road, it has such back road feel to it as it winds it's way up and down mountains, in and out of all the small towns that make up this beautiful region.
I fell in love with this series of old gas pumps (I love old pumps!) and I hope to make this the first of more to come!
I'm not sure if I can post their website, but you can search for the Lincoln Highway Heritage Corridor and find a list of all the pumps that exist, spanning from western PA to the middle of the state, all along Route 30. Lots of "brochure racks" at restaurants and shops along 30 also have a pamphlet that lists them (as well as the Roadside Giants).
Not a hard hide at all. Bring your own pen and leave with a smile!
