While camping at the Fintry Provincial Park, we found a cool little store where you can rent kayaks and buy little things. Thought that somewhere near here would be a good place to hide our own cache.
This was our first camping trip to Fintry and we grabbed all the caches around. We thought the park could use one in this area and decided to add our own. We headed to the day use/boat launch and found a cool little store/concession that rents kayaks and gives us girls a chance to shop. They've got ice cream and goodies too. We hid the cache nearby. The cache is a small camo lock and lock and we tried for a camping theme. There were only small items, but you never know, maybe there will be something you need! The cache had the following in it when we dropped it off:
-whistle/compass/led light
-hand sanitizer
-nail clippers
-caribener
-matches
-band aid
