As there's been no response to my earlier note, I am forced to archive this listing.

If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the near future, just contact me email, including the GC Code, and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Thanks,

Geocache Description:

Willow Rock: Sense of TOUCH

In the gardens we have a lot of textures, and visitors are welcome to touch!  The  STACHYS LANATA (Lamb’s Ear) are just as soft and furry as they appear.  Opuntia engelmannii  (Yellow Prickly Pear Cactus) is just as “prickly” as it looks—and it isn’t even the large thorns that get you but smaller ones that you don’t see)  The sunshine, warms us the rain cools us and all excite our sense of TOUCH.

My all time favorite DIRT! I love dirt!  It excites every sense I have!  I love the SIGHT of it, the SMELL of it, the feeling of it (TOUCH) the sound of it yielding to my shovel, and yes, I have ate enough of it in my 45 years to say even THAT is exciting!

This cache is placed in a place where people have “touched” lives---always remembered and never truly forgotten.  As always, please treat this and any place with respect.  We too will be “here” someday and will want to know that in some small way we have “touched someone enough to have them remember who we were”  NO NIGHT CACHING!
